Terms and Conditions
This dining experience operates as part of a fundraising initiative in support of the Masoka Village project — a community-driven event celebrating African culture and storytelling. 1. Use of Funds 100% of all proceeds from ticket sales for this experience will be donated directly to our official Masoka Village GoFundMe campaign. By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge and agree that the full amount of your payment will be treated as a donation towards this campaign. 2. Public Disclosure of Donations To maintain transparency and build trust within our community, we will publicly share the name of each customer alongside the amount donated (reflecting the value of their booking). 3. Option for Anonymity Customers may request anonymity at the time of booking. In such cases, the customer's name will not appear in any public-facing materials, although it will remain visible to internal staff for record-keeping and audit purposes. 4. Minimum Guest Numbers A minimum of 4 guests is required for each dining experience to proceed. If fewer than 4 people have booked, the experience will be cancelled. In this case: • Guests will be notified at least 6 days before the scheduled experience. • Guests may choose to reschedule or receive a full refund. 5. Refund Policy As this experience operates as a fundraiser, all bookings are considered final. We do not offer refunds for cancellations, no-shows, or changes in personal circumstances. a) Exceptions to the Refund Policy Refunds will only be provided under the following circumstances: • Event Cancellation: If we cancel the African Food Safari due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, safety concerns, or operational issues). • Business Fault: If the tour experience is significantly altered or cannot be delivered as promised due to an error on our part. b) Rescheduling While we do not offer refunds, we may allow rescheduling on a case-by-case basis, subject to availability and advance notice. Rescheduling requests must be made at least 14 days prior to the scheduled tour date.
