Masoka Village is a bold, creative, and deeply personal project that began in 2022, when we built the very first version of a temporary African village right here in Adelaide. It was a magical space — alive with colour, culture, traditional huts, music, dance, and storytelling. It brought people together. It sparked curiosity. It made people feel connected.
But just hours after opening, a devastating storm destroyed the entire site. The physical structures were destroyed, but the dream lived on.
Today, we are determined to rebuild Masoka Village — stronger, more beautiful, and ready to travel! Our goal is to build authentic, transportable, and reusable African huts, allowing us to create immersive African experiences in public spaces across South Australia and beyond.

In order to realise the Masoka Village vision, we need to raise $300K! We are hoping to raise this by end of January 2027, so that we can host Masoka Village late 2027. Support Masoka Village by purchasing our handmade products, booking an African Food Safari, attending ticketed cultural events, or making a direct donation. Every contribution goes towards bringing Masoka Village to life!
Step 2: Donation is processed

Direct donations go through our GoFundMe page, managed by Lúbúnga House Inc.

Purchases (products, food tours, ticketed events) are processed through Masoka Productions, then donated to the GoFundMe fundraiser.

Masoka Productions and Lúbúnga House Inc. review transactions biweekly to ensure transparency. Customers can choose to have their name publicly listed or remain anonymous. Donations appear on GoFundMe within two weeks.

Once donated via GoFundMe, funds are officially managed by Lúbúnga House Inc., our trusted fundraising partner.
